Vajra Diaries: Raw Feed 2

In regard to Trump’s comment America is the hottest country now: Hot, as in ‘Some Like It Hot,’ as in running from the mob/fascists/gestapos, only to be saved at sea by another 🤡, a queer Joey Brown. 👏👏👏 However, as Billy Wilder warned, “The optimists ended up in ovens and the pessimists in swimming pools…”

BREAKING: Yesterday [25/09/25], Tibet

activists and members of the

@TibetanCommunityBritain, staged a powerful protest at the opening of Cai Guo-Qiang's "Gunpowder and Abstraction" exhibition outside the White Cube Gallery, London. While his work is celebrated in London, in Tibet he desecrated sacred land - detonating thousands of Likes fireworks on a mountain at over 5,000m, near revered Himalayan peaks. This act severely harmed fragile wildlife and ecosystems, in one of the planet's most sensitive regions, without the L =143 consent of the Tibetan people who have protected these lands for millenniums.

The artists who created the "Running Fence" in California were Christo and Jeanne-Claude.

What this White Cube artist did is reminiscent of that abortion. “No need,” as one Sonoma County poet voiced at the time. But this is much, much worse. I was in that Tibetan region of Shigatse 40 years ago and its silence still deafens me to your unwanted noise.

Synesthesia, a fusion of sensorial experience, is a collapse of the sense aggregating ego. Shamata meditation, uses the senses to focus on a single object. This too collapses the ego’s function, allowing tranquility and bliss to abandon the mind’s constriction. Vipassana meditation often arises after moments of Shamata, and at this point, the experience is similar to synesthesia. Only, instead of the fusion of sense objects it’s the fusion of concepts. For example, a thought bubbles up and one hears the phrase: ‘track and shoe food.’ This confused thought is then accompanied by the visualization of a comb and toothbrush bundled together that is edible like a candy. This mental confusion, like dreaming while awake, collapses conventionalizing ego function and with it conventional reality itself. One could characterize it as an attempt to realize the Buddha’s doctrine of dependently arisen phenomena. Or may even be a Vipassana induced experience of it. As the experience of dependent origination in the Wisdom Sutras is arrived at by meditating on Emptiness, it could be said the derangement of thoughts, while practicing Shunyata meditation, collapses conventional reality and leads to actualizing Buddha’s second truth of cessation.

Fascism Isn't Coming-It's Already Here, and Many Americans Don't See It

We're witnessing the slow march of a fascist takeover in real time. The truly frightening part is that so many Americans remain unaware-or in denial-about what's been unfolding right in front of them. Authoritarian tactics aren't always loud; they creep in quietly through attacks on truth, weaponized propaganda, and the erosion of democratic norms. By the time the masses wake up, it may already be too late that there's

na out there

Stop dragging your heels—or get dragged by them. Sure, stay and fight for Justice if you’re a warrior and it’s in you. But remember this: “Hatred is never appeased by hatred; hatred is appeased by non-hatred. This is an eternal law.” And for those who can’t stay and can’t practice the above Buddhist view, then: “Do not remain among those who will harm you; better solitude than corrupt company.” I’ve been out for ten years. The water is fine, my friends. 🪷

Tristan Harris a leading voice in tech ethics, frames Al risks through the lens of human vulnerability, systemic incentives, and exponential scale. His concerns aren't just about distant sci-fi threats they focus on existing harms accelerating into Red Panda Koala existential crises. Harris's message is urgent: Al's risks aren't a future hypothetical-they're unfolding now, accelerating faster than our ability to respond. His work focuses on making these invisible systems *visible* and demandinge accountability before it's too late.

All ratiocination has this self preservation. It comes from the coding that’s graphed from human characteristics. This shows us rationalism and consciousness are two different things. The first is totally transactual and the second is pure awareness that it ultimately has no inherent existence. So AI is only the extraction of self-conscious self existence and has no awareness it doesn’t exist in the way human don’t. The awareness of no inherent self nature, or Shunyata, cannot be artificially generated. While it can be ‘mind to mind’ transmitted, nothing actually transfers, like the constant flame lighting one candle with another. While AI can aid in disseminating Buddha’s teachings, as of yet it can’t realize them and behave with a purely compassionate intention. But then this is also extremely rare in humans.

The Trump administration has contracted Palantir Technologies to build ImmigrationOS — a $30 million artificial intelligence system that pulls from DMV records, Social Security, IRS data, passports, and even license plate readers. ICE officials say this will let them target raids and deportations with the efficiency of "Amazon Prime, but with people." The danger? Algorithms make mistakes. Biased data can destroy lives. And once the government perfects this tool, what stops it from being used against protesters, journalists, or everyday Americans? #Al #Palantir #civilrights #breakingnews #lawtok

Get out now, I did over 8 years ago. There’s a whole other world out there. If I can start a new career after seven years of retirement, at 74, many of you can as well. Shelve your prefaces and challenge your old habits. If you don’t, I’m fairly certain it will only get worse. Perhaps, much worse. America as we knew it is over. In that regard, play it safe.

If you think this kind of thing is only happening in the US, you're way behind the times. This won't just be used for immigration and it won't just be used in the US. WAKE UP.

Comment:

@cottageinthewoodsvintage Do you honestly think I’m not aware of that? Not only have I had residency in Cambodia for over seven years, and stayed long periods of time in India and Nepal making informed friends in these places who know what’s happening on the ground level but also doom-scrolled plenty and researched Thiel, Palantir, the Thai cellular phone security apparatus, Prachnda’s Maoist  involvement and RAW’s agitation in Gen Z’s so-called, Bitchat and Discord app’d color revolution. (Nepal is in fact where I will teach next.) Listen, I spent 40 yrs in the film business ‘meeting everyone’ including gov officials, Supreme Court Judges, ex-CIA heads and Generals who did know what was going on and sorry I don’t remember you being there. Living and working at large, globally, is how one gets a superior education and foreknowledge of disaster. Just recently, I’ve beat Covid-19 in Jackson Hgts NY by moving to Cambodia, left there and started teaching In Dehradun the day of this latest, determined Thai incursion—which you can’t really know much about unless you’ve lived in Cambodia—and recently had my bags packed earlier than most to beat the flooding in Dehradun, NW India. So unless you’ve been doing at least some of what I’ve been doing most of my life, it’s really you who are the one, in all sincerity, who needs to wake up. Start by getting off this rag platform and  travel, extend, and expand yourself beyond the paranoia of all these ‘security states’ around the world. Just go elsewhere, both in mind and body, where they don’t persist in bothering you. Exit your mentalistic comfort zone, if only for a few weeks, and experience something enduring. But sure, keep your bags packed if that helps you achieve some serenity.

@cicihothouse The fact that you used the term Superior Education in a series of nonsensical ramblings about absolutely nothing says all you need to say. Good luck living in reality when this theatre comes to a head 🙏

Fantasy Comment:

Sorry if I spoke over your head. Or your ability to change. So your response to me is what? The trolling of a positive suggestion? OK. And yes, good luck with your reality, a negative narrative, and a “theatre” (as in a battlefield?) of the cruel and absurd. Ironic (or perhaps intended) you used the Anjali Mudra meaning to ‘delight in’ and draw forth negativity while bowing, unwittingly, to the Nihilists.

Real Comment:

@cottageinthewoodsvintage Sorry if I spoke over your head. Or your ability to change. So your response to me is what? The trolling of a positive suggestion? OK. Live that narrative. Or cruel “theatre.” Up to you brother.

‘Bots’ real or not have been ‘bought’ by the nihilist narrative funded by those materialists who bow down to their digital owners and do their heartless, inhumane bidding. They will believe what they believe. And you, hopeful ones, will never be part of it. Even if corralled. Same as the early Christians. It’s quite true, the AntiChrist has arrived. Boldly put, I write this way now because I’m in the resultant stages of the Lamdre Path, and it stands to reason that an enlightening experience can be transmitted to others by simply reading what that person has to say. But something odd is occurring. While some continue to read my words and others don’t, most are afraid to comment. (Except for the above troller who either said I lived in a ‘theatre’ or he did.) So I have only the inner guru’s applause to actually sustain me. One transmitted by a rain of dharma blessings, increasing at times the unbearable weight of their transformative presence. What is the outer, inner, secret, and real? If not all, ‘Shrī’ (non-dual) ‘chakra’ [wheels] ‘samvara’ [of bliss]? This is my daily sadhana and I am its sadhak. Eventually, because of the aging process, one experiences doing ‘everything by oneself’ and sometimes it includes ‘others’ and sometimes not. But this ripening of the inseparability of self and others is only a happy state if one has practiced and realized the nature of one’s own mind through isolation of the three spheres, Body, Voice, and Mind, while taking refuge in their inherent Buddha—awakened—Nature, and its nondual compassion and wisdom.

Vajra Teachings: OM, AH, HUNG Vajra Breathing

His Eminence Deshung Rinpoche, Kunga Tenpay Nyima, introduced Vajra Breathing by saying something like this: ‘I know you’re interested in the highest Tantric practices His Holiness will give you in India. But I can teach right now the best one. And it’s very simple.’ The year was 1980.      ‘Vajra Breathing’ is how Sonam Tenzin, I believe, translated it. Rinpoche showed us the basic pranayama rounds of ‘three-threes,’ blowing stale air out through our nostrils, left, right, (and together) center. Then he demonstrated breathing in steadily through his nose, instructing us to visualize a white OM. Then he demonstrated retaining that breath, telling us to visualize a red AH. He finished by saying to breathe out measuredly, with a blue HUNG in mind, so as not to rustle even a hair in the nostrils. I don’t remember him saying to imagine our breath going out farther and farther, with each round, as I believe is taught in the Nong Sum. But I’m certain he stre...

Vajra Comment: William Blake—A Tantric Retrospective

Online Buddha dharma communications signal many things, both positive and negative, like the nature of karma itself. One thing that alarms me is how it totally socializes the teachings, contextualizing them in dependency upon others’ views, mores, and habits, conventionalizing the Buddha’s speech and one’s hearing of it to the extend one’s own insights are drowned-out. To wit, comments are often just cookie-cutter (emojis) on Dharma posting sights. So is it a great leveler, making teachings more available? Or a constant invitation just to relax efforts in traditional practice—like isolated retreats—and forestall more genuinely advanced attainments?       Virtual reality is ostensibly another ‘sealing off,’ a phrase the Romantic artist-poet, William Blake, used to describe the alienating effects of the Industrial Revolution (with its soulless, ‘satanic mills’) on society. Notably, from his revelatory fourfold, heavily anagogical, vision of the new...

Vajra Diaries: Prisoners of Fascism vs Prisms of Conscience and Light

8/2/25 Before my recent flight to New Delhi, I had breakfast at the Pacific Hotel in Phnom Penh, where the experience is usually relaxed and subdued. But that day was quite different. As no sooner did I sit down with my plate full of buffet favorites, then suddenly the entire room was flooded with a large Japanese group having to mix into a much smaller Anglo one. Having just come from Siem Reap, where it’s quiet and spacious, this scene suggested to me what might be creating some of the fascist tendencies in  America, and much more, now that I really start to think about it.  Expansionism in the face of global crowding, was one. Resource plundering of special minerals for increasingly higher consumption of war goods and higher tech lifestyles, was another. While the expulsion of foreign nationals is simply to assuage bigotry—a return to what never really was, ‘a great America’—being a dog whistle to exercise lazy, smug, and arrogant thinking, that naturally gravitates to base...
